John H. Schnatter

Founder, Chairman and Co-CEO John H. Schnatter created the Papa John's concept in 1984 and the first Papa John's restaurant opened in 1985. He currently serves as Founder, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from December 2008 to April 2009, Executive Chairman of the Company from 2005 until May 2007, as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1990 until 2005, and as President from
1985 to 1990 and from 2001 until 2005.

J. Jude Thompson

President and Co-CEO Jude Thompson was appointed President and Co-CEO of Papa John's in April 2010 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2009. He also serves as a member of our Board of Directors, which he joined in February 2008. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Thompson served as Senior Vice President of WellPoint, Inc., and President, Individual Business of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Mr. Thompson previously held positions of increasing responsibility with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a division of WellPoint, or its affiliates since 1989.

Norborne P. Cole Jr.

Board of Directors Norborne P. Cole, Jr. was elected to the Board of Directors in May, 2003. Mr. Cole is a consultant for Silver Eagle Distributors, L.P. of Houston, Texas, which distributes Anheuser-Busch and other products, and serves as vice-chairman of its board of directors. He began with Coca-Cola Bottling in 1966 eventually rising to Managing Director/CEO of Coca-Cola Amatil where he is credited with successfully expanding and managing operations in countries including: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Austria, P.N.G., Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, the Philippines and Poland.

Philip Guarascio

Board of Directors Philip Guarascio was elected to the Board of Directors in August, 2003. He retired as Vice President, Advertising and Corporate Marketing for General Motors in 2000. In addition to integrating media buying across the organization and leading strategic initiatives in GM's advertising, Mr. Guarascio was instrumental in developing and implementing the successful GM Card program. Prior to joining GM in 1985, Mr. Guarascio spent 21 years with the New York advertising firm of Benton & Bowles, Inc. Mr. Guarascio is a director of Arbitron Inc. and has a senior advisory relationship with the National Football League.

Olivia F. Kirtley

Board of Directors Olivia F. Kirtley was elected to the Board of Directors in May, 2003. She is a consultant on strategic and corporate governance issues. She is a former Chairman of the Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization representing over 350,000 member CPAs on regulatory issues and with the investing public. Until 2000, Kirtley was Vice President - Finance and CFO of Vermont American Corporation, a global manufacturer of power tool accessories. Prior to joining Vermont American, Ms. Kirtley was with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Ms. Kirtley serves on the Boards of Directors of U.S. Bancorp. and ResCare, Inc., as well as several non-profit organizations.

Wade S. Oney

Board of Directors Wade S. Oney was elected to the Board in 1999. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Papa John's International, Inc. from 1995 to 1999 and was inducted into the Papa John's Operators Hall of Fame in June, 2000. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Oney served as the company's Regional Vice President of Southeast Operations. He now spends his time as a Papa John's franchisee, overseeing Bam-Bam Pizza, Brown's Pizza and L-N-W Pizza.

Alex W. Smith

Board of Directors Alex Smith was appointed to Papa John's Board of Directors in June, 2007.
Smith currently is a board member and president and chief executive officer of Pier 1 Imports, Inc. Prior to Pier 1 Imports, he spent 12 years with the TJX Companies, Inc., an off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. under brands such as T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, and internationally with brand names such as T.K. Maxx in the UK.
Smith has more than 30 years experience in the retail industry, and has significant international management experience in operations and merchandising in Asia and Europe. Before joining TJX Companies, he spent two years as managing director of Lane Crawford Singapore, which was part of the Hong Kong-based luxury department store group, Lane Crawford Limited. Prior to that he was with UK-based department store operator Owen Owen Plc for six years, including serving as managing director.
Smith holds a BSc from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.

William M. Street

Board of Directors William M. Street was elected to the Board in December, 2003. He began his career at Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide in 1963. He rose through the ranks of sales and marketing to executive management, becoming a vice president in 1977. In 1986 he assumed the post of president of Brown-Forman Beverage Company and was named chief executive officer of the Beverage Company in 1993. He was named president and chief executive office of Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide at its formation in 1994 and was elected president of Brown-Forman Corporation in 2000, retiring in 2003. He remains a director of the Brown-Forman Corporation. Mr. Street currently serves as chairman of the Kentucky Horse Racing Authority.
