John H. SchnatterFounder, Chairman and Co-CEO -
John H. Schnatter created the Papa John's concept in 1984 and the first Papa John's restaurant opened in 1985. He currently serves as Founder, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from December 2008 to April 2009, Executive Chairman of the Company from 2005 until May 2007, as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1990 until 2005, and as President from 1985 to 1990 and from 2001 until 2005.

J. Jude ThompsonPresident and Co-CEO -
Jude Thompson was appointed President and Co-CEO of Papa John's in April 2010 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2009. He also serves as a member of our Board of Directors, which he joined in February 2008. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Thompson served as Senior Vice President of WellPoint, Inc., and President, Individual Business of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Mr. Thompson previously held positions of increasing responsibility with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a division of WellPoint, or its affiliates since 1989.

J. David FlanerySenior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer -
J. David Flanery has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since 2004. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance from August 2002 until 2003. He served as Vice President of Finance from 1995 through August 2002, after having joined Papa John's in 1994 as Corporate Controller. From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Flanery was with Ernst & Young LLP in a variety of positions, most recently as Audit Senior Manager. Mr. Flanery is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Tim NorthSenior Vice President, North American Operations -
Tim North was promoted to Senior Vice President, North American Operations in August 2009. In this role, North reports to Jude Thompson, President and Co-CEO, and is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations for company-owned restaurants and franchised units in the continental United States, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. Since 2005, he served as Papa John's Division Vice President for the Northeast, overseeing operations for 100 company-owned and nearly 400 franchised units.
North has more than 20 years of experience in leadership and management in military, food service, retail and entertainment operations. Prior to joining Papa John's, North held positions with Pizza Hut as a regional director, area manager and restaurant manager and with YUM! Brands as Senior Director of Worldwide Customer Relationship Management. He also held positions as the Vice President of Operations at Universal Studios in Hollywood, Calif. and as the Mid-Atlantic Vice President for Kinko's. -
Timothy C. O'HernSenior Vice President, Development -
Timothy C. O'Hern rejoined Papa John's as Senior Vice President, Development in June 2009, a position he previously held from 2005 until 2007. From 2002 until 2005 and from 2007 until 2009, he managed the operations of a Papa John's franchisee in which he has an ownership interest. Prior to his departure from Papa John's in 2002, Mr. O'Hern held various positions, including Vice President of Global Development from February 2001 to 2002, Vice President of U.S. Development from March 1997 to February 2001, Director of Franchise Development from December 1996 to March 1997 and Construction Manager from November 1995 to December 1996. He has been a franchisee since 1993.

Christopher J. SternbergSenior Vice President, Corporate Communications and General Counsel -
Christopher J. Sternberg was named General Counsel in June 2009, and served as Interim General Counsel from December 2008 until June 2009. Mr. Sternberg has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, since 2005, after serving as Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman from 2000 to 2005. Mr. Sternberg served as Vice President, Corporate Communications from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Sternberg joined the company in 1994 as Assistant Counsel in our Legal Department. From 1990 to 1994, he was an attorney with Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald PLLC.

Tom SterrettSenior Vice President, International -
Tom Sterrett was named Senior Vice President, International in August 2010, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's international operations.
Sterrett has served in various capacities of increasing responsibility since joining Papa John's in 1995. Since 2007, he served as a Division Vice President, first for the company's Midwest Division from 2007 to 2008, then for the South Division from 2008 to 2010.
From 2005 to 2007, Sterrett served as Operations Vice President for the company's Midwest Division. From 2003 to 2005, he served as Director of Operations in the Nashville, Tenn. market after being promoted from District Manager, a position he held from 1995 to 2003. Sterrett joined Papa John's as District Manager for the company's South Florida market in 1995.
Prior to joining Papa John's, Sterrett spent 11 with Domino's both as an employee and a franchisee. From 1987 to 1994 he owned and operated 27 Domino's Pizza restaurants in Baltimore. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Regional Vice President for Domino's Northeast Region from 1985 to 1987. From 1984 to 1985 he served as Regional Development Director, and in 1984 he was named Store Opening Coordinator. He joined Domino's in 1983 as a store manager in West Chester, Pa.

Tony ThompsonPresident, Global PJ Food Service and Research & Development -
Tony Thompson was promoted to President, Global PJ Food Service and Research & Development in May 2010. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Papa John's Food Service since April 2009 and as Vice President, QCC Operations from 2006 to April 2009. Prior to joining Papa John's, Thompson worked for the Scotts Company for six years as Plant Manager, Director of Marysville Operations, and Director of Lawn and Controls Operations. Before joining the Scotts Company, Thompson spent four years with Conagra Grocery Products Company where he held positions as Operations Leader, Manufacturing Manager and Plant Manager. He also spent seven years in various roles with Gulf Coast Coca-Cola.

Andrew VargaSenior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer -
Andrew Varga was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer in August 2009. Mr. Varga joined Papa John's after 21 years with Brown-Forman Corporation. Mr. Varga served as Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing for Brown-Forman from 2007-2009, responsible for the company's Wines and Spirits portfolio in the North American Region. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Varga was Senior Vice President/Managing Director, Wines Marketing, with global responsibility for the wine portfolio.
