Papa John's Announces November Comparable Sales ResultsLOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 2005--Papa John's International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA) today announced that domestic system-wide comparable sales for the four weeks ended November 20, 2005 increased 8.7% (composed of a 12.0% increase at company-owned restaurants and a 7.8% increase at franchise restaurants). The temporary closure of restaurants on both coasts of Florida as a result of Hurricane Wilma was estimated to negatively impact November results for both company-owned and franchised restaurants by nearly 1%. Substantially all such temporarily closed units are now reopened.

Total system-wide international sales for November increased 14.4%, on a constant U.S. dollar basis, over the comparable periods last year.

At November 20, 2005, there were 2,903 Papa John's restaurants (503 company-owned and 2,400 franchised) located in 49 states and 22 countries.
