Item 8.01 Other Events

 

On November 16, 2004, Papa John’s International, Inc. issued a press release discussing a reduction in staffing levels throughout its corporate support functions. The company will record approximately $750,000 in fourth quarter severance, outplacement and related costs due to the elimination of approximately 70 positions. The severance charge will reduce the company’s fourth quarter and full-year earnings per share by approximately $0.03.
