Robert Lynch
President and Chief Executive Officer
Rob Lynch

Robert Lynch was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer in August 2019. Mr. Lynch joined Papa John’s from Arby’s Restaurant Group where he served as President since August 2017, and served as Brand President and Chief Marketing Officer from August 2013 to August 2017. During his time at Arby’s, he led the brand’s dramatic turn-around to strong growth and profitability. Prior to Arby’s, he served as Vice President of Marketing at Taco Bell. Mr. Lynch has more than 20 years combined experience in the QSR and consumer packaged goods industries, and also held senior roles at HJ Heinz Company, and Procter & Gamble.

    Marvin Boakye
    Chief People and Diversity Officer
    Marvin Boakye

    Marvin Boakye was appointed Chief People and Diversity Officer in November 2019 after previously serving as Papa John’s first Chief People Officer since January 2019. Mr. Boakye joined Papa John’s after serving as Vice President of Human Resources at petroleum company Andeavor in San Antonio, Texas, where he also led diversity, equity and inclusion. Andeavor was recently acquired by Marathon Petroleum. Prior to Andeavor, he was Chief Human Resources Officer for MTS Allstream, a telecommunications company now part of Bell Canada from June 2015 to March 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Boakye held senior human resources positions for organizations across the United States, Canada and Latin America, including at Goodyear and the Pulte Group, where he also helped start their diversity and inclusion organizations, as well as at The Home Depot.

      Madeline Chadwick
      Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Affairs
      Madeline Chadwick

      Madeline Chadwick was appointed SVP, Communications and Corporate Affairs in November 2019 after serving as the company’s VP, Communications and Community Engagement since June 2018. Ms. Chadwick leads internal and external communications as well as the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Before joining Papa John’s, Ms. Chadwick led communications for the founder of Quicken Loans and owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA franchise, Dan Gilbert, and his family of companies and investments in Detroit and Cleveland. She also served in senior global corporate communications roles at eBay and Hewlett Packard. Prior to her in-house career, she worked at leading public relations agencies for more than 15 years overseeing communications strategy for a number of global consumer brands. Ms. Chadwick has held both regional and global communications roles in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

        Amanda Clark
        Chief Development Officer
        Amanda Clark

        Amanda Clark was appointed as Chief Development Officer in February 2020. Ms. Clark joined Papa John’s from Taco Bell where she served as Executive Vice President of Restaurant Experience from February 2019 to February 2020. She also served as Senior Vice President, North America Development from May 2017 to February 2019. In addition, Amanda served as general manager for Taco Bell Canada.  Prior to joining Taco Bell, she worked at Procter and Gamble for nearly 12 years on some of P&G’s biggest brands, such as Olay, Pampers and Oral-B.

          Steven R. Coke
          Principal Financial and Accounting Officer

          Steve Coke was appointed Principal Financial and Accounting Officer in March 2020 on an interim basis. Mr. Coke also serves as the Company’s Vice President of Investor Relations and Strategy, a position he was appointed to in February 2018.  He previously served as Principal Financial and Accounting Officer in March and April 2018. Additionally, Mr. Coke served as Vice President, Strategic Planning since January 2015, after serving as Senior Director, Strategy since April 2012 and Senior Director, Restaurant Finance since June 2011. He has served in various director and manager-level positions with increasing responsibility in Finance since joining Papa John’s in May 1998. Mr. Coke is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

            Justin Falciola
            Chief Insights and Technology Officer
            Justin Falciola

            Justin Falciola was appointed Chief Insights and Technology officer in November 2019 after previously serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Analytics and Technology officer from October 2018 to October 2019. Mr. Falciola previously served as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Analytics, and prior to that as Vice President of Digital Solutions. He joined Papa John’s in 2016 after his role as Director of Enterprise Integration and Architecture at Humana. Prior to Humana, Mr. Falciola held technology leadership positions in the financial services industry and has two decades of experience in building and leading high-performing digital, analytics and technology teams.

              Shane Hutchins
              Chief Supply Chain Officer
              Shane Hutchins

              Shane Hutchins was appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer in October 2018. In this role he leads PJ Food Service (PJFS) which oversees the company-owned Quality Control Center Operations, Supplier Management and Quality Assurance in the United States and Canada. During his more than 20 years with the company, Mr. Hutchins has held various positions within its Food Service Division, including operations and support and oversight of its global commissary network spanning across nearly 50 countries. He has also served in financial and strategy roles at the company. Prior to joining Papa John’s, Mr. Hutchins was a senior auditor for Deloitte and Touche, LLP, focused on manufacturing, health care and nonprofit organizations.

                Caroline Miller Oyler
                Chief Legal & Risk Officer
                Caroline Miller Oyler

                Caroline Miller Oyler was appointed Chief Legal & Risk Officer in October 2018. Ms. Oyler previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer from May 2018 to October 2018 and Senior Vice President, General Counsel from May 2014 to May 2018. Additionally, Ms. Oyler served as Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs from November 2012 to May 2014 and as Vice President and Senior Counsel since joining the Company’s legal department in 1999. She also served as interim head of Human Resources from December 2008 to September 2009. Prior to joining Papa John’s, Ms. Oyler practiced law with the firm Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs LLP.

                  Jim Norberg
                  Chief Operating Officer, North America
                  Jim Norberg

                  Jim Norberg was named Chief Operating Officer, North America in November 2019 after serving as Chief Restaurant Operations Officer since July 2019. Mr. Norberg, a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry veteran, spent more than 30 years of his career at McDonald’s. His most recent role there was Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, where he managed operations for 14,000 U.S. restaurants. After his long tenure at McDonald’s, Norberg served as an independent strategic advisor to organizations in the restaurant, hospitality, entertainment and consumer goods categories. He serves as a member of the board of directors for Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, the world’s premier nonprofit organization dedicated to achieving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer workplace equality.

                    Chief Operating Officer, International
                    Jack H. Swaysland

                    Jack H. Swaysland was appointed to Chief Operating Officer, International in May 2018 after serving as Senior Vice President, International since April 2016. Mr. Swaysland previously served as Vice President, International from April 2015 to April 2016, Regional Vice President, International from May 2013 to April 2015, and Vice President, International Operations from April 2010 to May 2013. Mr. Swaysland has served in various capacities of increasing responsibility in International Operations since joining the Company 11 years ago.

                      Max Wetzel
                      Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer
                      Max Wetzel

                      Max Wetzel was appointed Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer in November 2019. Mr. Wetzel joins Papa John’s from PPG Architectural Coatings where he served as Vice President Consumer Brands and Business Transformation – US and Canada since July 2018. Also at PPG, Mr. Wetzel served as Vice President Home Centers and Global Strategic Marketing from June 2016 through July 2018 and as General Manager Home Centers and Chief Marketing Officer US & Canada starting in November 2014. Prior to PPG, Mr. Wetzel worked at H.J. Heinz Company for 10 years in a variety of domestic and global roles, leading consumer-driven businesses, developing brand marketing strategies and delivering profitable growth.
